By Truck: United Parcel Service and major truck lines serve the county, with services adaptable to different needs. Local trucking enterprises haul limerock, wood chips and lumber.

By Air: Airline and air freight service is available through Jacksonville International Airport, a 70-minute drive to the northeast, and Gainesville Regional Airport, a 30-minute drive to the south.

By Highway: State roads 100 and 121 traverse the county, intersecting in Lake Butler. These highways provide easy and quick access to U.S. 301 just east of the county, I-75, just west of the county, and I-10, just north of the county. These roads and highways are well-maintained and in excellent condition.
