Public water and sewer services is provided in Lake Butler, with the remainder of the county served through private wells and septic tanks. Electrical service is provided by Florida Power & Light and Clay Electric Cooperative. LP gas and fuel oil are available from local distributors. A natural gas line runs through the county, but service has not yet been established. Cable TV service is available from New River Cablevision Inc. in Worthington Springs and Comcast in Lake Butler.
