The City of Lake Butler will meet in special session on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. for the 2010-11 Budget Workshop, discuss the Fire Station grant and to interview top 5 (five) applications for the City Manager/Clerk vacancy. CALL TO ORDER - ROLL CALL:
Commissioners: Beasley, Cason, Norman, Sirmones, Stalvey
Staff: City Attorney Maines, & Interim City Manager Mecusker.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: Upon recognition by the Mayor, any person may address the Commission only on subjects included on the agenda. Speakers are requested to give their name and address to the recording clerk for the record and to come forward to the Commission table when speaking. Please be as brief as possible and limit your remarks to four (4) minutes (additional time may be granted by the Commission if necessary). No official action can be taken but direction may be given to staff.
ITEM 1. 2010-2011 BUDGET WORKSHOP
Interim City Manager will conduct.
ITEM 2. FIRE STATION GRANT
Megan Carter with North Florida Professional Services, Inc. will provide an update.
ITEM 3. CITY MANAGER/CLERK VACANCY
Paul Sharon, ICMA Range Rider, will present top five (5) candidates applications for consideration.
